Days after launching its latest series of smartphones in Nigeria, Chinese technology company Vivo – frequently stylized as vivo – announced plans to launch the V21 selfie flagship device in Kenya this month.
The move comes after vivo was named the official smartphone brand of the UEFATM Euro 2020 football tournament currently underway. With a variety of powerful cameras and features, the V21 is the ideal phone for capturing memorable football moments.
Earlier this month, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer announced the launch of the V21 model, a new addition to the V-series smartphones that focuses on taking industry-leading selfies.
V21 Specifications; the first of its kind in the world
According to vivo, the V21 will be the first device in the world to feature a 44MP selfie camera with both optical and electronic image stabilization. This enables the device to detect movements and shaking accurately and calibrate the camera accordingly, thereby eliminating motion blur and producing high-definition selfies.
Additionally, the camera will be capable of recording 4K selfie videos, dual-view mode, and slow motion.
At the back, the device will feature a triple camera setup: a 64MP primary camera with OIS and EIS for nighttime ultra-high-definition photos and videos; an 8MP wide-angle rear camera for capturing the entirety of a scenic view; and a 2MP macro camera for close-up and personal shots, making the V21 the camera smartphone for all occasions.
The device, which will utilize Eye Auto Tracking technology to ensure that the subject is always the primary focus of the shot, will allow users to fully immerse themselves in moments without having to worry about the shot's quality or manually calibrating the settings, even in low-light situations.
The 64MP's Artificial Intelligence Night Portrait mode utilizes intelligent software to intuitively focus on faces, balance highlights and shadows, and capture the best image possible in low-light conditions.

Additionally, the V21 will feature a sleek, minimalist design in a slim body. The objective is to provide today's consumers with a sophisticated and fashionable smartphone that complements their appearance.
