Quidax, a cryptocurrency exchange platform, has announced Don Jazzy brand ambassador

As part of its brand ambassador program, Quidax, a cryptocurrency exchange with an emphasis on Africa, has announced Michael Collins Ajereh (AKA Don Jazzy) as its brand ambassador. Michael Collins Ajereh (AKA Don Jazzy) is a well-known Nigerian record producer, audio engineer, and social media influencer who has a large following on social media. Don Jazzy was officially unveiled at a ceremony in Lagos, Nigeria.

MAVIN Records, founded by Don Jazzy, has established itself as one of Africa's leading musical powerhouses, with artists such as Rema and Ayra Starr among its roster of stars. Mavin has previously collaborated with Grammy Award-winning artists such as Dbanj, Wande Coal, Dr Sid, Dija, and Korede Bello, among others. Don Jazzy has over 18 million followers on social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.

This is in line with the cryptocurrency company's well-documented influencer marketing strategy, according to the company. Quidax launched an online campaign dubbed #TheQuidaxCall last week, which has garnered a lot of attention. Diane Russet and Bisola Aiyeola, both former Big Brother Naija reality stars, were among those who took part in the marketing campaign for the campaign. In addition, the team introduced popular actors Timini Egbuson and Gbubemi Fregene aka Chef Fregz, as well as popular rapper Jude Abaga, to the audience (AKA M.I Abaga).

It consisted in a phone call from an unknown celebrity to the other participants. The reveal of Don Jazzy as the caller was one of the most interesting aspects of the show. He also invited several other celebrities to travel with him on the Quidax train during the event's duration.

The reason for the company's collaboration with Don Jazzy

Quoting Buchi Okoro, the CEO of Quidax, as the reason for the company's collaboration with Don Jazzy, "The producer has a personality that transcends music." According to Buchi, Don Jazzy "has such a great personality and has been someone I've looked up to for a long time." A record label was established despite the apparent impossibility on the part of the artist.

"The best part is that Don Jazzy is a crypto enthusiast who also happens to be a crypto asset owner," he continued. I recall that a conversation with Don Jazzy piqued my interest in the metaverse, which led to further research. I then started making genuine investments in the metaverse as a result of that."

Don Jazzy showcased a portion of his NFT collection in an Instagram post last year, which included a cool cat, mutant ape, afrodroids, and superkongs, among other characters.

During a conversation with Don Jazzy, also known as "Crypto Mbappe," about his interest in cryptocurrencies and the metaverse, Technext learned about his background. In his explanation, he stated that his interest stems from a deep-seated curiosity about what will be important tomorrow.

'I've studied the music industry for many years and have discovered that the labels that have failed are the ones that have refused to adapt to changing times,' he says. Because of this, it is clear to me that the only way to ensure long-term survival is to invest in the future and maintain relevance."

It is easy to buy, sell, store, and transfer cryptocurrencies with Quidax, a cryptocurrency exchange that was founded in Africa to make it simple for users to do so. It also enables fintech companies to provide cryptocurrency-related services to their customers, according to the platform's founders, Buchi Okoro (CEO), Morris Ebieroma (CIO), and Uzo Awili (CTO).

During a press conference held in May 2021, CEO Buchi informed journalists in attendance that the company had transacted a total of $3.2 billion in less than three years of operation. The company also raised $3 million in funding to support the launch of its QDX platform, which was announced earlier this year.

Announcement

At the event, the Quidax team announced the launch of a cryptocurrency academy, which is intended to make learning about cryptocurrency as simple as possible for anyone. In his introduction, Buchi claims that the content is extremely simple to understand for crypto beginners, and that it is the first in a series of additional courses that will be launched in the coming weeks. The courses on the platform will take you less than two hours to complete in total.
