Google Play includes a 'Offers' tab that lists deals on games and apps
In order to assist users in discovering deals on games and apps, Google Play is adding a new "Offers" tab to its store, the company announced on Thursday. As stated by the company, the tab will display deals from applications related to travel and shopping as well as media, fitness and entertainment. It is expected that the new tab will be available to users in the United States, India, and Indonesia within the next few weeks. Later this year, Google plans to broaden the availability of the new tab to include more browsers.
Additionally, the tab contains a section titled "offers for apps you might like" to assist users in locating deals that are relevant to their interests. As Google points out, users will be able to discover a variety of different types of bargains through the service. Sales on games and in-game items, including limited-time discounts on magic orbs and tokens, will be highlighted on this page under the Sales tab. Additionally, it will display rewards and bundled offers from apps, such as free delivery, free rides, and other perks, in addition to individual offers. Other types of offers, such as discounts on movies and books that are available for rent or purchase, will be highlighted as they become available. Google also explained that by highlighting apps that offer free 30-day trials or other extended trials, the tab will encourage users to experiment with new things.
