How To Transfer Spotify Playlists to Your Apple Music

How to Transfer Spotify Playlists to Your Apple Music.

How To Transfer Spotify Playlists to Your Apple Music

There are several good music streaming apps that are out there, but for you to carry all your stuff over to a totally new service can be a pain. We will show you how you can move your music from the Spotify to your Apple Music with all your playlists still intact.

Unfortunately, if you are transferring playlists between services, it is not something that can be done natively. We will need to use a third party service to bridge the gap between the Spotify and the Apple Music. The good news is that you will not need to make an account on yet any other service, and it’s completely free.

How Make Use of Spotify Offline on a Windows 10 PC or Mac

The service we will be making use of in this guide is called “Tune My Music,” and it is actually working with other services beyond Spotify and the Apple Music. Before we begin, you will need to have an accounts on both your Spotify and Apple Music.

1. First, you need to head straight to the Tune My Music website in a desktop web browser such as the Google Chrome. Next, you tap on the big “Let’s Start” button.

2. You have to click on the purple "let's start" button. Now, choose the source music service (the app that you will be transferring playlists from). In this case, we are making use of the Spotify.

3. You need to select the spotify as the source. A new window will pop up and ask you to sign in to Spotify (if you are not signed in already). Tap on “Agree” to give Tune My Music the access to your account.

4. You need to give "tune my music" access to your spotify account. Next, you will have two choices. You can either load Spotify playlists from your account or you can paste the URL of a specific playlist into the text box.

5. You have to choose if you want to load playlists from your account or you want to paste the playlist URL. If you have loaded songs from your account, you will be greeted with a list of your saved playlists. Choose all of the playlists that you need to move over to Apple Music. You can tap the “Show List” to choose or reject individual songs.

Note: If you are making use of the website for free, you can only transfer 1,000 tracks at a time. You can also repeat the process as many times as it takes to enable you move over your entire Spotify library to Apple Music.

6. Tap the "select destination" button to proceed. Now, choose Apple Music as the destination source. You will be asked to sign in and agree to enable Tune My Music have access to your account.

7. Choose the apple music as your destination platform. Then you click the “Start Moving My Music” button to initiate the transfer.

8. You need to begin the transfer by clicking the "start moving my music". You will be able to watch the progress of the music transfer. Any songs that is not found in Apple Music will be labeled with a red “Missing” text. These songs are often available, but the exact song titles were not found by the Tune My Music.

Once you are done, you can now go back and move more of the playlists if you would like to. This is a pretty simple way to start moving all of the playlists that you have spent so much time and energy curating.
